Provides input to design team to ensure testing considerations are incorporated into system design.

Creates test scenarios that ensure all error handling processes perform as expected.

Discusses applications of iterative testing using agile methodologies.

Proficiency Level 4
Subject Matter Expert

Demonstrates in-depth experience with testing multiple major software products.

Defines and monitors industry and company practices, testing metrics, and benchmarks.

Conducts cost/benefit analyses on alternative testing approaches.

Stays current on software testing trends; makes recommendations for organization.

Explains the process and criteria for software and documentation testing certification.

Compares and contrasts major testing methodologies and philosophies.
