Guides troubleshooting and resolution of EMS issues.

Discusses basic transaction models and issues and considerations for queuing, blocking, and end-to-end flows.

Extensive Experience

Demonstrates expertise with implementing and extending tools and scripts in support of EMS instrumentation.

Discusses considerations for virtualized process execution models and implementations, including JVM and associated environments.

Consults on implementing EMS on various host platforms and distributed system architectures.

Describes desired platform configuration and tuning parameters (OS, hardware, and networking) for optimum application performance.

Leads and resolves complex troubleshooting related to EMS and ancillary systems.

Shares experiences with optimization, scalability, tuning, schemas, APIs, and operational considerations.

Proficiency Level 4
Subject Matter Expert

Demonstrates In-depth knowledge of all major host and virtualized platforms.

Develops and champions best practices and standards for EMS operation.

Describes challenges and opportunities of TCP/IP, Ethernet, multicast, host interfaces, and kernel tuning.

Consults to others on common distributed computing protocols and APIs (SOAP/XML, HTTP, WXDL, CORBA, etc.) Knowledge of ASPR security requirements Develops long-term operational strategies for EMS management in a business context.
